Red Bull MotoGP Pit Lane, Jerez 2017
Following the success of the Burladero at the Red Bull Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez in 2016, Red Bull asked us to propose a significant improvement to this initiative, which has become the centrepiece of the Grand Prix activation by its main sponsor.
To this end, we presented a bold proposal involving a two-storey marquee set on a foundation and tubular structure, designed to accommodate a capacity of over 700 people and create a temporary space fully integrated into the lifestyle of the Jerez Grand Prix.
Once approved by the client, we set to work carrying out major construction work on the site, building a reinforced concrete foundation capable of supporting the weight and loads of everything envisaged in the project.
Once the foundations were in place, we erected a terrace using a Layher-style tubular structure and hired a 20×10-metre two-storey ‘arch’ marquee from our supplier AMG SERVICES (official supplier of premium marquees for MotoGP), as well as a 10×5 marquee for facilities.
The entire terrace was clad in teak, fitted with translucent railings and featuring Red Bull branding around the entire perimeter, including the roof, which ensured our client’s logo was visible in aerial shots.
It was equipped with screens broadcasting the races live, as well as providing telemetry and team streams. We installed a very powerful sound system, and included a dedicated stage area where guest artists entertained guests at the Burladero between races.
An impeccable job, a commitment to quality and the extraordinary – something our client Red Bull has come to expect from us. And above all, a spectacular team of leading companies in their respective sectors whom we were able to rely on to deliver this impressive project.
