Since 2014, we have had the immense pleasure of producing the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos event in Spain.
This event, regarded as the most important Spanish-speaking event of its kind in the world, is growing by leaps and bounds year on year. What started in 2014 as semi-finals attended by 1,500 people has now grown to 15,000 attendees. What used to be watched by 2,000 people online has now reached 5 million. And so it goes, year after year.
This season, we changed the format compared to previous years. We went from four to two semi-finals, and the stage set-up felt more like a ‘mini-final’ than a semi-final. We set up a 12.5-metre Orbit and screened the event for over 10,000 people.
The result is what you can see here. Barcelona and Málaga didn’t let us down, and it was a massive success. We’re now getting ready for the National Final, which will take place in September this year in Madrid and will mark a radical departure from everything we’ve seen so far. It’s going to be a blast, everyone!
