As in previous years, Red Bull Headquarters commissioned us to handle production management and stage management for the International Battle Finals at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on 10 December 2022.
We set up a 360-degree rig with over 80 tonnes of equipment suspended from the ceiling, more than 150 L Acoustic K-series speakers, 500m² of LED screens, and over 600 lighting fixtures… a spectacular production for an event of this calibre.
In addition to overseeing the rigging, we developed the set design – a stage design inspired by pre-Columbian pyramids – which we combined with the lighting direction by Experiencias Visuales, the content and art direction by Onionlab and our friends at Nativo, the effects by Dsilence, and the opening video by Sepia.
All of this was achieved through impeccable coordination with the broadcast production team, NEP Spain. The Lambreta team managed the local production, where their coordination ensured the event was a resounding success. We handled the recruitment and sourcing of local suppliers, such as Riggingplot México S.A. de C.V., Serpro and OCESA, amongst others. A great job and a result that lived up to expectations.
