Red Bull Ocean Drive Bar

Once again, Red Bull entrusted us with a project for two major hotels: the OD -Portals (Palma de Mallorca) and the Ocean Drive Ibiza (Ibiza).
The brief was to design a modular, dismantlable bar and back bar. A bespoke design exclusively for the OD-Hotels chain, to serve as the main bar in their respective Sky Bars.
To this end, we created a unit which, once dismantled, could be easily palletised in 120×120 cm modules.
The front section comprises four modules (two central modules and two corner modules). It is constructed from a white-painted galvanised iron frame, with the countertop made from water-resistant MDF and beech wood. The front of the bar is finished with white ‘Chester’ upholstery in marine-grade fabric, a stainless steel plinth and a perimeter of LEDs running along the entire top edge, illuminating the entire bar.
The rear comprises two modules with doors for storage, a bottle rack and a totem featuring a Red Bull logo made from PVC, with a strip of LEDs at the top to illuminate it.
A distinctive feature of the unit is how easy it is to assemble and dismantle, as it consists of separate modules. It was designed so that it could be moved to different locations depending on the requirements of the event or the weather conditions.
