
Posters, street advertising panels, catalogues, programmes, plotter prints, large-format banners… a range of sizes and media that have allowed us to experiment with layouts and get creative to produce, once again, a campaign for one of the most important documentary film festivals on the current cinema scene: the ALCANCES Atlantic Film Festival.
Using a poster by designer Verónica Ruth Frías as our starting point, we were responsible for adapting and developing all the elements to promote the 46th edition. To this end, given the impact of the poster’s image, we chose to showcase the photograph to its fullest, highlighting the programme and text against a background of green and white lines to avoid cluttering the image. In this way, we achieved a harmony between text and image that makes the programme easy to read.
On the other hand, the production of the catalogue and the programme gave us greater freedom to experiment with text and images when designing publications aimed at eliminating superfluous graphic elements to ensure an enjoyable reading experience.
