Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos 2016 Semi-finals Tour

For the third year running, Red Bull Spain entrusted us with organising the entire tour for the semi-finals of the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos.
Madrid, Almería, Barcelona and León were the cities chosen by the public, and we had to travel to each of them to set up the four semi-finals, from which the participants for the National Final – to be held on 9 July in Valencia – will be selected.
This year, we used the same stage set-up as in 2015, with a few improvements. The most notable aspect was undoubtedly the resounding success with the public, breaking all previous records for attendance both in person and via live streaming. Madrid and Barcelona attracted over 6,000 people, doubling the attendance figures from the 2015 edition, whilst Almería and León (the first time a semi-final had been held in these locations) also saw a tremendous turnout, with over 2,500 people at each event.
The hashtag #BatalladelosGallos became a global Trending Topic on two occasions, and streaming views broke all previous records.
It was a challenging tour, where the weather forced us to make changes to almost every production, adapting to the circumstances as best we could at the time and resolving any issues to ensure the show always went on. Without a doubt one of our events of the year – now on to the National Final!
