Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos 2014 Semi-finals

It was certainly an entertaining month of May.
Bilbao, Barcelona and Málaga. Three consecutive weekends where we went on tour to produce the regional semi-finals of the “Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos”. An ad hoc production in which Babblá was responsible for the entire event.
The Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos, an event that began in 2005, is an international competition for Spanish-speaking freestylers involving participants from Latin America and Spain. The battles centre on a freestyle rap duel between two MCs, where improvisation, flow, wit, attitude and daring rhymes are the only weapons to outdo the opponent.
First, on 17 May, we were at La Alhóndiga in Bilbao. A unique venue right in the heart of Bilbao, where over 1,000 people packed the atrium.
Then we headed to Barcelona on 24 May, to the Port Vell area, at the Muelle de la Fusta. An unrivalled setting with over 2,000 people joining us, creating an amazing atmosphere that perfectly matched the excitement of the event.
And finally, we headed to the heart of Málaga, in front of the Roman Amphitheatre, in Plaza de La Alcazabilla, which was packed to the rafters to watch what was undoubtedly one of the best semi-finals.
Three weeks, three consecutive events.
