Real or virtual? If the number one rider in MotoGP were to compete in real time against the number one in the MotoGP eSports World Championship, who would win? We’ve asked ourselves this question many times, but no one could come up with an answer… until Red Bull came along and suggested we produce ALTER EGO.
Six-time MotoGP World Champion Marc Márquez went head-to-head with the reigning E-SPORTS MOTOGP World Champion, Adrian Montenegro from the Canary Islands, at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, where we set up a rig for Adrian so he could race against Marc in real time as he sped around the track.
A complex production, featuring a spectacular audiovisual piece, directed by advertising director Alberto Blanco, in which we produced all the action, designed Adrian’s booth, set up the technical production and provided support for the shoot.
