Ibai Llanos: Get Your Samsung

In the height of summer, and in the midst of a hellish season, our friends at MEDIABRAND rang us up with one of those ‘crazy’ ideas we love so much. Given any other proposal, common sense and the season we were having would have led us to turn down the project… but of course, the ingredients of this project were very appealing, so we got straight down to work.

MEDIABRAND had been working on an idea for its client SAMSUNG to launch its new mobile phone models: to organise a Pilla Pilla competition, narrated by Ibai Llanos, and where the elements on the playing field would be recreations of these mobiles, in all the infinite positions made possible by their FLIP or HOLD technology.

We went to Terrassa, found a TV set and, in record time, built the entire ‘parkour’ course designed by the very best professionals in the discipline, who had been hired for the occasion.
