The 12 of the Twelve

To mark the bicentenary of the Cortes of Cádiz in 1812, a group of businesspeople from Cádiz representing various sectors decided to join forces to work together during the bicentenary year.
We developed both the name and the complete brand identity for this project. “Los 12 del Doce” is an alliance of 12 companies formed in 2012.
2012 is the year of its bicentenary, the year of Cádiz.
‘Gaditanos por el Bicentenario S.L.’ is the commercial company representing “Los 12 del Doce”. It was incorporated in Cádiz by the local companies ‘Arsenio Manila’, ‘La Marea’, ‘Marimba’, ‘Mesón de las Américas’, ‘Taberna Casa Manteca’, ‘Arsa Flamenco Bar’, ‘Telepizzas PuertaTierra’ and ‘Cumbres Mayores’, from the hospitality sector; ‘Babblá’, a graphic design and advertising studio; the tax consultancy and advisory firm ‘Moral Asesores’; ‘C. Rios & F. Gutiérrez’, an insurance company; and ‘Admission’, an events management company.
In this year of such great significance for the city, ‘Los 12 del Doce’ have set themselves a single objective: to ensure that Cádiz celebrates its Bicentenary on the scale it deserves, whether through private initiatives or in collaboration with public authorities, contributing their experience, hard work and dedication.
We already knew that ‘twelve’ was quite a special number. This project is as special as it is beautiful and committed.
2012 will be no exception.
