SailGP 2021 – Spain, Andalusia, Cádiz

Events

Six months of preparation, one month of set-up, two days of the greatest sailing spectacle ever seen in Spain. That sums up the last few months we’ve spent working on the production management of the first – and so far only – round of the SAILGP league held in our country.

Bermuda, Italy, Great Britain, Denmark, France, Spain, Australia and the United States make up the calendar for Season 2 of this spectacular event, which stopped off in Cádiz on the weekend of 9 and 10 October.

Spain, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, France, Denmark, the United States and Australia are the participating teams, pushing these F50s (flying catamarans) to the limit, leaving an entire nation speechless as it turned out in force for the Cádiz event, which broke all records and was hailed as the best event of the championship’s two seasons to date.

What did we do? We were responsible for the overall production, from securing permits to setting up all the spaces required for the SAILGP to take place. Working alongside the SAILGP Global team, we developed the venues and equipped them with everything needed to run the event.

A spectacular event with a unique outcome that guarantees we’ll be able to enjoy it again in our country in 2022.
