The Evening of Year IV, Ibai Llanos

There is much talk of ‘La Velada del año IV’, but it is difficult to summarise the impact it had and everything it entailed, as it was a show attended by over 77,000 people and watched by more than 3.5 million people on Twitch, spanning two days of live streaming, the first lasting over 3 hours and the second 8 hours.

A dynamic show, with hugely entertaining content and a very powerful production, featuring over 1,200 moving lights, nearly 300 sound cabinets and a great deal of infrastructure, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, an impressive, imposing and complex venue when staging a 360° production.

In terms of broadcast, it was a show with two production teams supporting the main production, a total of 34 cameras including a skycam, a drone, a referee’s POV, 9 PTZs, 2 Atom cameras, 1 Phantom glamcam and 19 GV and Sony broadcast cameras, including 4 SSMs, a robotic tracking camera, 3 telescopic cranes, 2 RF steadicams, 2 autonomous cameras and a Polecam.

For this show, we coordinated the local production, assisting with both the technical production and the broadcast production.
