Cádiz Tourist Line

The Tourism Department of Cádiz City Council asked us to submit a proposal to visually showcase our city’s museums, monuments and most beautiful sights to both the people of Cádiz and visitors.
In its old town, Cádiz has four coloured lines painted on the pavement that follow a route through the most iconic and characteristic spots, and we came up with the idea of drawing a parallel with the metro lines in major cities, with key interconnected points from which visitors could set off on a new route – a fresh way to explore the city whilst shopping, savouring its cuisine and enjoying its scenery on an outdoor stroll.
The result is a fold-out map of Cádiz – a handy guide where you can find recommended points of interest, as well as a brief description of each of the four walking routes, offering an original way to explore the city.
We then adapted the design for bus shelters so that passers-by can, at any time, get their bearings and continue their journey wherever they wish.
