Our good friend LOLLYPOP DJ came to see us in May to ‘challenge’ us with a really fun project to round off the official carnival week, which this year – due to COVID restrictions – had been postponed until June.
The idea was both “simple” and daring: to set up a stage in front of the Puertas de Tierra, blocking the city’s main avenue, and to synchronise one of his performances with a fireworks display that would serve as a “Closing Party” unlike anything the city had ever seen.
So we set to work, side by side with LOLLYPOP and the Festivals Department of Cádiz City Council, to design a stage that would be quick to set up, meet the technical requirements specified by LOLLYPOP, and look spectacular for the final show.
We were supported by BLASTER SOUND’s technical production and video content from CARLOS VJ, resulting in a spectacular show and a grand finale unlike anything the city has ever seen before.
